What do you do and what led you to this career?
I opened the boutique in 2015 after working in retail and wholesale for about 8 years. I graduated from NYU in 2006, started law school in 2007, but ending up wrapping it up two weeks later. I realized it was not for me. I had to get a job, so I walked into a store on 8th street and said “hi, are you hiring?” And thus began my retail career.
What are the names and ages of your kids?

What is the most rewarding aspect of being a mother? Most challenging?
Being a mom is one of the most special experiences. It is incomparable. The most rewarding thing to me is to see them happy and healthy. Most challenging is everything. Every new event and milestone is a learning experience. Also, this past year has been a major test to managing and balancing everything.
What is your best advice for a new mother?
A lot of time advice people think they are giving is actually not helpful. There is so much pressure on new moms, to me it’s most important to do what is right for you. Keeping yourself calm and healthy is so helpful in taking care of your child.
How has motherhood changed you?
I’m not sure I’ve changed so much. I’ve always been kind of a motherly type. All of my responsibilities have been amplified, especially since it seems like days somehow get shorter and shorter and there is less time to finish things. (A bit more stress and anxiety but also a lot of happiness). I wear heels less and never blow dry my hair :)
